Book Reviews

There have been many worthwhile books concerning the Gower Peninsula published. Unfortunately, for every new title that is marketed, another completes its print run and disappears forever from the book shop shelves. Titles such as The Gower Coast by George Edmunds and Gower Journey by A. G. Thompson are classics and it is a shame that it is now so difficult to track down even second hand copies of these rare and fascinating titles. Whilst it would present a mammoth effort to offer up for discussion an exhaustive list of Gower and Swansea books, http://www.welcometogower.co.uk/ has prepared a bibliography of its own private collection of local history and guide books for your perusal and comment.
Only books in The Gower Information Centre's library can be reviewed online.
